Small/Other Pet Consultations

The first step is usually a phone call to discuss your issues briefly and explain how the consultation process works.
Your consultation appointment will typically take between 1-2 hours. This appointment can take place in your home or via video call, whichever you prefer.
During the consultation we will discuss your pet's behavioural issues along with daily routines, any prior history which may have an influence on the issues and you and/or your family's expectations of what you would like to change.
Please note if you are self-isolating due to Covid-19 or think you may have symptoms, we will carry out appointments via video call (or reschedule for a later date if applicable). Please see our full covid policy for more details.

After the behavioural consultation has taken place you will receive a behavioural report (within 14 days) which will outline your pet's issues and provide a diagnosis to help you understand why your pet is displaying these behaviours and what can be done to resolve them.
You will also receive a bespoke training/behavioural modification plan to help you work on your pet's issues. This plan will be specific to your pet's issues (not just a general guide for all pets of it's type) and daily routines. The plan will cover how to carry out the necessary training/behaviour modification with your pet to achieve the goals set during the consultation.

Once you have your training/behaviour modification plan, further 1 hr appointments will be arranged to support you during the training/behavioural modification process.
These appointments last an hour long, during which we will work through any issues you are having with training/behaviour modification and discuss the progress of your pet.
While most pet's will respond to training or behaviour modification well, the speed at which they progress may differ between individuals. This is why we also offer support once your training sessions have ended (see Packages/Pricing for more details).
